1. Roles
The Operator listed above acts as controller for account and billing data. When the Customer uses PlantKeep to process maintenance data about its own workforce or assets, the Customer is controller for that content and the Operator acts as processor under Art. 28 GDPR, subject to this DPA and the Privacy Notice.
2. Subject matter
Processing of Service data (organizations, users, machines, maintenance, faults, files, audit logs) solely to provide, secure, and support PlantKeep.
3. Sub-processors
Hosting and infrastructure providers may include Netlify (app hosting), Neon (PostgreSQL), Stripe (payments), and the configured SMTP provider for transactional email. An up-to-date list is published on the Security page.
4. Security
The Operator applies technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit, tenant isolation, and audit logging. Details: Security page.
5. Assistance and deletion
Upon written request, the Operator assists with data subject requests relating to processor activities and deletes or returns Customer content after end of Service, subject to legal retention (e.g. audit, billing).
6. Contact
Privacy requests: use the privacy contact email in the Operator block above (or set OPERATOR_PRIVACY_EMAIL before go-live).
